Gatherings & Workshops

Every week, storytellers, artists, and seekers gather at The Blue House—a space where faith and creativity meet. We pray together, reflect on God through expression, and encourage one another in our journeys. Whether through film screenings, spoken word, music, or quiet moments of reflection, these gatherings are a place to wrestle with faith, find belonging, and spark new inspiration.

CINEMA CHURCH

“Movies are our way of telling God what we think about this world and our place in it.” - Josh Larsen

Join us this Thursday as we gather for Cinema Church, where we slow down, share space, and let a good film do what only good films can: make us feel a little more human.

This week we’re watching Hoppers — a warm, wonder-filled story about what it might mean to truly listen to the world around us, and the surprising connections waiting for those curious enough to look.

Just bring yourself, an open heart, and maybe a little childlike wonder. All are welcome.

Doors will open at 6:30PM and the film will begin promptly at 7pm at the Blue House. Popcorn and sparkling water will be provided. Feel free to bring food/snacks/drinks to share!

Prophetic Prayer Workshop

Prophetic Prayer Workshop

Last time, we practiced listening to God for ourselves—we asked questions like “God, what do you think about me?” and then slowed down to listen.

This time, we’ll practice listening to God for each other. Prophesying (in this context) is simply hearing God’s voice on behalf of another.

Whether you’ve done this for years or have never tried it before, all are welcome. We’ll learn together, encourage one another, and create space to practice without pressure or fear.

God’s heart for us is so full of love, kindness, and grace. When we prophesy, we get to join in on God’s deep love for our neighbors. How cool is that?

Come, slow down and be encouraged!

“The one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragement, and comfort.”

Uncommon Creators Check-In

In January, we asked, "What's next?"

This month, we’re creating space to check in — honestly and intentionally. What’s been growing? What’s been challenging? Where do you need support?

Join us for a follow-up evening designed to move from reflection to action. We’ll revisit what’s been stirring since our last meetup, share progress (and setbacks), and gain clarity on the next faithful steps forward.
